The exhibition ‘Energy of Gazprom PJSC. Industrial Landscape’ opened in Saratov
The exhibition project ‘Energy of Gazprom PJSC. Industrial Landscape’ is held as part of Gazprom Transgaz Saratov's 60th anniversary celebration and was implemented by the Gazprom Cultural Initiatives Foundation in cooperation with the St. Petersburg Repin Academy of Fine Arts to preserve the traditions of academic painting.
The genre of industrial landscape developed in the second quarter of the XX century. Artists emphasised the importance of human labour, showed the scale of production and the importance of resource development.
The paintings depict panoramic views of the industrial landscape and technical facilities in a realistic manner and demonstrate the author's understanding and interpretation of global industrial processes provided by Gazprom PJSC.
On the first day the exhibition was visited by representatives of Gazprom Transgaz Saratov management, the company's employees, residents and guests of the regional center.
