Blue Square exhibition by Russian artist Olga Tobreluts will open at Gazprom Arena

The exhibition in the arena bowl will start two hours before the first RPL home game of the season.

Olga Tobreluts' 11 graphic sketches were created for the Blue Square charity project implemented by the club and the State Hermitage Museum in August 2019. Players of the St. Petersburg team, visiting the Hermitage 20th century art exhibition, painted eleven variations on the theme of Kazimir Malevich's “Black Square” based on the Olga's sketches. The project was curated by the eminent art historian Arkady Ippolitov (1958–2023).

Subsequently, Olga Tobreluts' works were presented at the 1703 Saint Petersburg Art Fair, and then were donated to the Gazprom Cultural Initiatives Foundation. In the summer of 2024, on the eve of the club's 100th anniversary, Gazprom decided to donate the collection to the Zenit FC Museum.

The artwork can be seen in the Gazprom Arena bowl at the entrance to sector 108 at Zenit's first three home matches.
